Sarah Marino is an Art Director, writer, and visual development artist in Los Angeles, California. She was most recently the Art Director of Mattel's Monster High series at Nickelodeon Animation.
She was previously the Art Director of the Netflix original, Princess Power, the Art Director of Nick Jr's Butterbean's Cafe, and the Color Supervisor of Nick Jr's Shimmer and Shine. She debuted her first graphic novel series with Shane Richardson, Dragons of Ember City: Happy Spark Day! in 2022, with the sequel Dragons of Ember City: The Midnight Roar! releasing in 2024. She was also previously a visual development artist on the Golden Globe-nominated movie The Book of Life. Clients include Netflix Animation, Disney TVA, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Dreamworks TV Animation, Reel FX, Simon & Schuster, and Candlewick Press.
